“Having a black teacher impacted my life personally, because he took the time understood to where I was coming from and tried to understand why I made certain decisions. I also feel like Black teachers can relate and understand Black parents on a level where it makes it easier for them to make sure the Black student stays on their P’s and Q’s. ”
